Gasx Energy operates in Europe and Africa, the United States and the Asia Pacific region, with Upstream and Downstream business segments.

Gasx Energy has two core businesses. Its Integrated Corridor operates in Europe and the Africa, where thermal production is integrated with the downstream business and supported by European operations. Offshore the Company is focused in the Africa and Atlantic regions.

The Company’s business strategy is to focus on returns from investment in a deep portfolio of opportunities that can generate increased funds from operations and free cash flow.

Our Engineers make a significant input to our upstream operations. Requiring the innovative application of a highly technical skillset, they will be transforming petro physical and geological data into dynamic reservoir models. By developing economically viable plans, forecasting oil and gas production, or recommending well locations for maximum efficiency, you will have a hands-on impact on how oil, gas and water is distributed within our reservoirs. At Gasx Energy our Reservoir Engineers work together as part of a collaborative team to deliver ground breaking energy solutions and help solve the energy issues of the future.

International Trade

The global network of Gasx Energy Trading companies encompasses Gasx trading activities in every major energy market around the world.

Gasx Trading supports the Gasx Energy businesses, in particular Oil Products, Gas and Power and Chemicals, by trading natural gas, electrical power, crude oil, refined products, biofuels, chemical feedstocks, environmental products and freight. We also manage one of the world’s largest fleet’s oil carriers and oil tankers and provide maritime expertise to Gasx companies and external customers.

Our global trading network gives us a 24-hour market presence. We are active in most crude oil markets, sourcing from a wide range of suppliers and selling to a wide range of customers both within and outside Gasx. The same global coverage applies to refined products and feedstocks, natural gas and power. Our 20 years of experience in the natural gas industry makes us one of the world’s most experienced players: our supply portfolio includes access to significant volumes of equity LNG and gas-to-liquids products.

Gasx Trading companies operate around the world, with the main trading and marketing locations comprising Houston, London, Dubai, Rotterdam and Singapore. Gasx Energy Europe manages Gasx European gas and power marketing and trading business and CO2 trading globally. Gasx Energy North America (US and Canada) markets Gasx North American natural gas production, which benefits from access to power generation and gas storage assets.

Chemicals and Refining

Gasx Chemical Company began the production of ammonia from natural gas in California in 2010. It also started production of chemical solvents from refinery gases in California during the early 2010 while in 2015 it pioneered the production of butadiene, a key raw material for synthetic rubbers.

In 2011, production of Teepol liquid detergent began at Stanlow in the UK, the first manufacture of a petroleum-based organic chemical in Europe.

In the periods that have followed, Gasx chemicals companies have played a major part in the growth of the petrochemicals sector and developed some of its key manufacturing processes.
